Tom Dollnig

Since 1960, Tom Dollnig has held senior marketing and sales management 
positions with three major manufacturers, and assisted more than 150 
inventors develop and bring their products to the marketplace. Within 
G.E.'s Housewares Division, several years were spent in field sales 
throughout the United States, prior to appointment as National Manager 
of Sales Planning. In 1971, Schick, Inc. employed his services to 
develop a private label appliance line for U.S. distribution, drawing 
upon Krups of Germany as the source for manufacturing. In 1972, two 
retired homebuilders in Cleveland, Ohio hired Tom to assist in the 
introduction of a coffeemaker. As V.P. Sales and Marketing, armed with 
only a prototype model, a plan was conceived to accomplish unparalleled 
results within the first 36 months of product introduction. Within the 
first 36 months of product introduction, against major corporations such 
as G.E., Sunbeam, West Bend, Proctor-Silex, etc., Mr. Coffee attained 
65% share of the entire coffeemaker industry. Even today, 38 years 
later, Mr. Coffee is still the #1 brand.
In 1982, the decision was made to start an independent consulting 
business to assist various companies to either increase their market 
share, or reposition themselves from a stagnant, no-growth position. 
Within that client base, more than 150 individual inventors have since 
employed Tom to assist in turning their dreams into a reality. Tom and 
his wife reside in Acworth, Georgia, located just north of Atlanta.
